Although the contemporary look is popular, people love the comfort of the traditional farmhouse style. Every detail of this smallholding property was carefully considered: the white painted ceilings and open trusses offst the subtle rustic light fittings beautifully; the use of green undertonesinte paint coloursof teh walls and cabinetry convey the feeling of relaxation and complimnet the brick walls which were used minimally in strategic areas for maximum impact. Floors were adorned with luxurious chiseled french patterned travertine in all the living areas and virgin vinyl in bedrooms and bathrooms.

As families are spending more time in the kithen, it has become the most important space in the house. With three daughters and parents who love to experiment in the kitchen, this thoughtfully designed kitchen had to cater to various needs. An oversized island anchors the space and serves as a hub for fammily activities, providing a place for both family and friends to congregate.

Dress a bathroom as you would any other living room with the appropriate furniture, accessories and art. Don;t be afraid to make the space special by including items that are beautiful to you. In the Main En suite, a rug was added as well as ornately framed mirrors and a pre-oved re-upholstered chair. Inspired by the homeowner’s love of roses, lights were sourced to add a personal touch.
