LAGOON HOUSE - LANGEBAAN

This project started as a consultation for custom-made curtains and slowly progressed into an interior makeover. This was the first time my client worked with an interior decorator and we decided it would be a slow, ongoing project, helping him to get used to the transformation of his holiday home.

Most of the old furniture had to be revamped & new custom designed pieces were added. The outdated golden frame of a much loved painting was replaced with a more suitable frame that compliments the contemporary dark cabinetry. Photographic art was added to the other areas in the house – also the guest bathroom. Decor objects and faux greenery were sourced. Slowly but surely as each layer was added, I found the homeowner to actually enjoy the process of seeing his house change into a home, a place where family and friends can come together and make fond memories.
